What is a Kids Club Savings Account?

Timberline Bank’s Kids Club Savings Account is a fee-free savings option designed to help kids and teens build strong financial habits from an early age. With as little as $5 to open, it’s a simple way to start your child on the path to financial confidence.

Is there a minimum age to open an Kids Club Savings Account?
Nope! You can open a Kids Club Savings Account at any age—as long as a parent or legal guardian is listed on the account and you provide the child’s date of birth and Social Security number.
Do I need to be a legal guardian to open an account for a child?
Yes. A parent or legal guardian must be a co-signer on the account when opening a Minor Savings Account.

Yes! Timberline offers a free, paperless checking account for minors (with a $100 minimum opening deposit). It includes a debit card and online access so teens can safely learn how to manage money with a little more independence.
Are there special benefits to opening a Kid’s Club Savings Account?
Definitely. When kids visit a branch to make a deposit, they can pick a prize from our Kids’ Club Corner—or even grab a soda! It’s a fun way to build the habit of saving and make banking a positive experience.
