2024 Top Regional Bank in Nation

Timberline Bank was recognized as one of the top 250 regional banks in the United States by Newsweek, in collaboration with Plant-A Insights Group.

For the first time, Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group partnered to find America’s best regional banks. During the evaluation process, they analyzed all regional banks in the United States and encompassed a complete assessment of Timberline Bank’s profitability, financial relevance, risk exposures to financial uncertainties and overall health and stability. Social media reviews, Apple App store and Google Play store reviews were also collected to support the scoring model.

Timberline Bank stands apart by prioritizing a focus on the communities it serves. Co-CEO of Timberline Bank, Jeff Taets, says, “As we celebrate our 20-year anniversary as a locally owned and operated Community Bank, it is a true honor to be recognized by Newsweek as one of the top 250 Regional Banks in the United States. 2022 Colorado Companies to Watch Hall of Fame Winner

Timberline Bank was inducted into the Colorado Companies to Watch Hall of Fame at the 14th Annual CCTW Gala Celebration.

"The list of Colorado Company to Watch Award recipients from the past 13 years is impressive, and to be among these second-stage companies as a financial institution is amazing. We are so grateful to be recognized as a CCTW Hall of Fame winner and we are proud to share this recognition with the communities we serve and our Timberline Bank team members,” said CO-CEOs Jeffery Taets and Jim Pedersen.

The Small Business Administration, Colorado District named Timberline Bank as the 7(a) Lender of the Year for 2022.

"We are humbled and excited to be named for this award. But Timberline should be thanking the SBA for their support to our small business, which is locally owned and operated, they are an essential partner to so many small businesses in Colorado” said Goodman during her acceptance speech.

“It is an honor to be presented with this award for serving small businesses and especially gratifying since Timberline Bank is a small business,” said Pedersen.

The Grand Junction Chamber of Commerce named Timberline Bank the Business of the Year in 2021. We are honored to receive this award and grateful for the support from our community and the GJACC.

Timberline was honored to receive the 2021 Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year Award. Thank you to our customers, community members, and the FACC for providing Timberline Bank the opportunity to help grow our community. 

In 2021, Grand Junction Economic Partnership granted Timberline Bank the Business Expansion Award.

We were honored again to be awarded the Colorado Community Rural Lender of the Year for 2018 by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Small business is our business!

Timberline Bank received the Colorado Companies to Watch Award in 2016. This program honors companies for developing products and services that create jobs, promote innovation and contribute to their communities.

In 2016, Timberline Bank was awarded by the U.S. Small Business Administration as Colorado Community Rural Lender of the Year for 2015. Timberline impressed the agency with our commitment to the rural population of the communities we serve.

Best Bank in the Valley was a recognition given to Timberline Bank’s Montrose Branch in 2015. This award is a testament to our support of the community and the level of service we pay to our customers.
